CASA RUGS produces high-quality hand-knotted rugs from the best available natural materials which are durable, age with grace over many generations and are easy to maintain. CASA RUGS has carpet industry knowledge over 100+ years.

The rugs are designed in Europe and hand-knotted in India. The country masters the art of rug weaving, thus helping to preserve their culture, respecting the ancestral techniques that teach us so much about the value of materials, manual labor, and the need for things to last. By combining tradition with design, CASA RUGS provides modern, contemporary classic & traditional rugs without compromising the essence and uniqueness of craftsmanship. CASA RUGS’s most famous hand-knotting technique is Persian knot type, which is dating from the 5th century B.C. and at approximately 2400 years old.

MOTHER & SON

CASA RUGS story starts with Triin Lastik who has a long close to heart relationship for India; for its culture and for its craftsmanship. As a family company, Triin’s oldest son Markko joined the path as Co-Founder of CASA RUGS to share the knowledge and bring the values of a high-quality hand-knotted rugs to a wider audience.

COLLABORATION

CASA RUGS provides a large variety of designs, sizes and materials for its customers and can develop and create custom designs exclusively to fit your specific needs and environment. CASA RUGS collaborates with artists, designers and architects and is also available for commercial partnerships to deliver custom solutions for private home, office, real estate, and public space projects.
